Did you know that the human brain generates 70,000 thoughts daily, and the majority are negative? 
What if I told you that you could change those thoughts and manifest what you wanted through the intention of writing; would you make a conscious effort to become aware of your thinking and write it down? 

In 2018 I began journaling consistently every morning; I had no idea of my thoughts, nor did I know how to journal, but I kept at it until I began to connect with my higher self. I made a ritual of putting pen to paper while I drank my morning coffee, and because of my routine, if I miss a day, I feel off, like I forgot to do something. One of the most magical experiences was stumbling across automatic writing. What is automatic writing; through the action of surrendering force to move my pen and freely allowing the words to scribe on my paper, I began to receive answers from my spirit guide or higher self. My pen moving by itself freaked me out at first, but I quickly learned that I was receiving helpful guidance and that there was nothing to fear.

One thing I did was make sure my space was clear of any negative energy and only allowed for light energy to come through. The reason for journaling is to learn to become more self-aware and not begin your day in a reactive state. Journaling helps you build a relationship with yourself. Also, gratitude journaling helps get you out of lower emotional thoughts by reminding you that there are many things to be grateful for, even if it's not apparent. You can write your way into a different person; don't believe me, give it a try for 30 days, and watch the magic unfold.
